What Do I Need: Behind the Scenes for Boxes

As a basic glossary for things you may need when behind the scenes of boxes, please use the following terms:

Corrugated Cartons

  • These cartons are the industry standard.
  • Cartons are constructed from strong 200#/ECT-32 kraft corrugated (unless otherwise noted).
  • Cartons ship and store flat to save space.

Bulk Cargo Containers

  • Protect and conceal large shipments with Bulk Cargo Containers!
  • Many standard air freight containers available.
  • Makes a great master pack for smaller cartons.
  • Easy to pack.
  • Protect irregularly shaped shipments.

White Self-Seal Side Loading Cartons

  • Premium self seal boxes with adhesive strips on both ends for fast secure closure.
  • Our version of the "Fed Ex" box.
  • Strong 200#/ECT-32-C corrugated.
  • Easy opening tear strip on both ends.
  • Full overlap flaps provide additional protection.

Hazardous Shipping Containers

  • Ship hazardous material containers without foam inserts.
  • Containers fit snugly without using protective inner packaging.
  • Use these cartons to ship your own paint cans.
  • Cartons are printed with mandatory warning information.
  • "This side up" arrows are printed on 2 sides of carton.
  • Cartons ship and store flat to save space.

Insulated Shipping Containers

  • Maintains the insulation and integrity of your product!
  • Products that present unique shipping difficulties due to temperature constraints can be shipped safely.
  • Economical. Shippers are light-weight, reusable and recyclable!
  • Thick molded foam container protects contents from crushing and breakage.
  • Cartons are printed with Rush, Perishable and This Side Up shipping instructions.
  • Shippers include: Seamless molded EPS foam body with tight fitting lid and 200# white corrugated carton.
  • Available in case quantities, priced by the individual kit.

Deluxe Moving Boxes

  • A collection of boxes designed specifically for the moving industry.
  • All Deluxe Moving Boxes are printed with a collection of instructions including: "Fragile-Handle with Care", Up Arrows and an easy to understand write on destination panel.
  • The deluxe cartons feature special "flap tabs" that hold flaps down and out of the way making packing easier.

Suspension Packaging

  • Product is suspended in the airspace of the shipping container between two layers of highly resilient, low slip film.
  • The patented design suspends products away from impact, providing consistent protection for fragile products even after repeated drops.
  • Transparent film enables package to serve as a protective shipper and a display.
  • Packaging is reusable for return shipping.
  • Versatile design enables each system to accommodate many product sizes.
  • Includes inner assembly and outer packaging.
  • In addition to above, Laptop system includes 2 suspension inserts and accessory divider.

Retention Packaging

  • This Retention Packaging System holds product securely within its proprietary retention frame and revolutionary film membrane.
  • Provides engineered protection for a wide range of applications.
  • Elastomeric film safely entraps the product while providing excellent viaibility and product display.
  • The side flaps fold upward, loosening the film and forming an insertion pocket for product loading.
  • The side flaps are then folded down to tighten the retention film and hold the product securely in place.
  • The finished package is then easily inserted into the carton and is ready for shipment.

Corrugated Layer Pads

  • Great Layering Protection!
  • Use in between layers of product to evenly disperse weight.

Doublewall Corrugated Sheets

  • Large Corrugated Sheets are perfect for layering on pallets.
  • Protects products from fork lift damage.
  • Keeps top of products free from warehouse dust.
  • Used as a layering pad, corrugated sheets help disperse weight.
  • Constructed from strong 275# D.W./ECT-48 heavy-duty kraft corrugated.
