The direct thermal labels are constructed with a permanent acrylic adhesive. The direct thermal labels are uncoated. As a result of being uncoated, it is recommended that product testing by the end-user to make certain that the requirements of their application are met. B103 does not recommend the direct thermal labels for applications involving extensive environmental resistance. IPS Packaging & Automation offers direct thermal labels in both rolls and fanfold.
